El fortalecimiento de la democracia es un gran desafío para Colombia. Para ello se deben superar la corrupción endémica, la impunidad, la falta de garantías para la participación de grupos minoritarios y de oposición y los altos índices de violencia. En este contexto, buscamos contribuir a un debate amplio sobre las condiciones marco de la democracia y fortalecer y hacer más diversa la participación política.
Mediante nuestras actividades promovemos espacios de participación, intercambio, formación, reflexión y análisis. Además, apoyamos estudios científicos y organizamos debates entre representantes de la vida política –especialmente políticos progresistas– y organizaciones no gubernamentales, sindicatos, universidades y medios de comunicación. A su vez, trabajamos de la mano con organizaciones de la sociedad civil, sindicatos y expertos.
