En los últimos años, Colombia ha dado pasos importantes para la construcción de la paz. Sin embargo, lograr mayores niveles de seguridad para todxs sigue siendo uno de los principales desafíos que enfrenta el país. A este respecto, durante años hemos trabajado para que los sectores sociales, políticos, gubernamentales y las fuerzas de seguridad lleguen a consensos en pro de una solución negociada al conflicto armado en Colombia. A su vez, promovemos iniciativas y espacios de encuentro para la visibilización y el intercambio de experiencias de reconciliación y apoyo a las víctimas del conflicto. Buscamos contribuir a la construcción de paz, mediante actividades de formación, facilitación de debates públicos, grupos de trabajo y estudios.
Apoyamos la elaboración de propuestas progresistas para hacer frente a los viejos y nuevos fenómenos de violencia, crimen organizado y delincuencia común. En este marco, convocamos a las fuerzas de seguridad, la sociedad civil, la academia y los políticos para impulsar debates sobre reformas a las instituciones del estado y recomendaciones de políticas públicas en seguridad. Aunado a esto, trabajamos para la integración constructiva de Colombia en mecanismos multilaterales, regionales y globales para el fortalecimiento de la paz y la seguridad.
