El encuentro se enmarca en la Conferencia Regional sobre el nexo paz-seguridad-cuidado y busca abrir un diálogo entre Estado, academia, organismos multilaterales y sociedad civil para reflexionar sobre cómo el cuidado puede convertirse en un principio ético y político en las estrategias de paz y seguridad en la región.
El próximo viernes 12 de septiembre, de 2:45 a 5:00 p.m. (hora Col), se llevará a cabo el evento público “Reimaginar las estrategias de seguridad y construcción de paz en América Latina y el Caribe” en el Centro de Felicidad de Chapinero (Cl. 82 #10-69, Bogotá).
Un espacio de reflexión y propuestas
En un contexto marcado por la violencia, la desigualdad y la creciente militarización de las políticas de seguridad, el evento invita a (re)pensar la paz y la seguridad como procesos interdependientes, orientados a la protección de la vida, la dignidad y el bienestar de las personas.
